I'm debating on whether or not I'd like to do it, as I have a plethora of minis. I'm afraid they may end up changing it in the long run so I'm trying to hold off. I really wish I could display them without customizing it but at the same time I see the problem that would arise if everyone could take a mini and display it across different accounts.

As the title says, are you waiting?

(Please don't turn this into a rant thread or one providing suggestions as to how it could be changed)

the only thing I'm doing in HoM is putting up the tapestries. I'm not putting in any titles, heroes, pets, armors, etc. Nothing. I know they've totally blown it and may completely change their minds on things, possibly making any irreversible decisions (such as customizing pets) big mistakes.

Nope. The moment i unlocked the monument i shoved a mini on it. I am currently buying more minis for the sheer purpose of displaying them there. I do this because:

1: I know for certain wich one of my characters i like most and wich i put the most effort in. This character will get the minis to display.

2: Because while minis are fun i find i like having one, but i hardly ever realy let it out. The HoM is a much better way to display my minis then having them stuffed in my backpack to never be used.

all my charactors get 1 mini to keep. they are usually my most high end ones so I can show em off. other then that, I put most of my more common ones in the hall for my main charactor. If they are white, pig or collector edition minis in the hall. the others will go in after a while prob just before GW 2 comes out.

I figured my elementalist is my main, I have more fun on it and I play it more often than any other class I've ever played collectively. So I figured I'd decorate the halls with every mini pet I had too. I mean it's not like the bonuses in GW2 will be ground breakingly amazing.

I put the mini I never use anymore, Jade Armor, into the HoM. The others I am waiting to see what happens.

I sold all mine for 1k each, cant be bothered to try and sell them for more

Only one i kept was a mini bone dragon, which im gonna get rid of one day, when i find someone who wants to buy it for what its worth lol

So to the OP, no i wont be putting any mini's in the hall

I put 1 in to test (a second temple guardian I had) and as soon as they introduce the new mechanics, I will be putting my whole collection in there

I put two in my hall, because I didn't pay enough attention to notice that the pet was customized the first time I put one in. I am waiting to add the rest of them because I constantly swap minis among my characters. Right now I have 15 characters and 30 minis.

I won't customize them till ... well, they change it or we have to do it for GW2.

This would mean they gave a damn and did not change it for a year or so.

I'm waiting for them to customize minis to my account, not to my character.

Either that or I'll wait until right before GW2 comes out to put up the minis. ANET doesn't make any fscking sense.

Meh, it's not like people actually need the monument to display their minis.

Just go in there with them in your inventory. When people ask just show them the old fashioned way.

I'll keep mine out of there until I have duplicates or they change the system.

I put my mini pets on my main character (that my GW2 character will inherit from) into the HoM. I'm hesitant to put my other 7 mini pets on display with them since I wouldn't be able to bring them out with the characters they "belong" to.

I put just my moa bird in, which at the moment is the only mini i have that i intent on keeping. But untill we know which minis are needed to unlock some special item within gw2 i wont put any others in just yet.

Same goes for all other shrines

I have only one toon that is worth decking out its HoM and my minis sit on a storage toon not getting any lovens. So why not...

I'm the type to have my minis spread around all my chars, though my favorites are on my necromancer; and yet I'm not planning on customizing any at the moment. I do the same with my weapons, since I switch them from character to character once I think something suits another character better than one, and sell what I don't like.

So aside from armor and titles, I haven't used my HoM.
